Director Mrinal Sen Dies At 95

Legendary director Mrinal Sen died on the age of 95 at his residence on Sunday morning, reviews information company ANI. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award-winning director was best-known for guiding movies like Neel Akasher Neechey, Baishey Sravan, Bhuvan Shome and Akaler Sandhane amongst others.

Mrinal Sen made his first function movie Raat Bhore within the 12 months 1955, which starred Uttam Kumar. Mrinal Sen was awarded with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest movie honour in 2005. Mr Sen had gained awards at a number of worldwide movie festivals together with Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Moscow.
