Baaghi 2 Plot

When Neha’s three-year-old daughter, Rhea, is kidnapped, she calls Ronny, her ex-boyfriend who is now an Indian army soldier. He remembers the promise he made to her and agrees to save Rhea.

Baaghi 2 begins in Goa with a vicious attack on Neha (Disha Patani) by two masked men. Meanwhile somewhere in Kashmir, Ranveer Pratap Singh aka Ronnie (Tiger Shroff), a Special Forces captain is busy exhibiting his love for the nation.

A phone call from Neha who turns out to be his ex and there, you have our boy bidding ‘tada’ to the valleys and landing straight in Goa. Ronnie is still nursing a broken heart but decides to act upon Neha’s SOS call. Turns out her daughter Ria has been kidnapped and the ‘damsel-in-distress’ wants Ronnie’s help. At one point, she tells him straight-faced, “I am not selfish, I am just desperate’. Perplexed? So were we!

Nevertheless, Ronnie decides to be a ‘good ex-boyfriend’ and help her in finding her missing daughter. In between, there are flashbacks about their sappy college romance and how it went kaput, courtesy Neha’s ailing father! Coming back to the present, things take a drastic turn when Neha jumps down to her death in front of Ronnie turning him into a ‘rebel for love’. Why did Neha commit suicide and where is Ria? The film holds the key to the answer to these questions.

Baaghi 2 IMDB Reviews

Baaghi 2 plot

The movie definitely stays true to its basic content that’s action you’ll see some good action with the tiger factor, the story definitely lacks behind in spite of some good actors like Manoj Vajpayee Prateek Babbar Randeep Hooda and Deepak Dobriyal the screenplay is very dull and even they can’t make it to a great film.

Disha patani was poor in the film with her deadpan expressions, the tiger did well a perfect heroic character with typical Bollywood heroism. Prateek Babbar and Randeep Hooda did exceptionally well as an addict and not so usual police officer respectively. Music is not so great compared to the 1st installment of Baaghi the flashbacks become irritating after some time. So out and out its a good action film with great actors but a poor storyline.

Baaghi 2 has full filled what promised. Action, action with emotions & suspense. Tiger did best as well as Disha. Other supported very well. Songs should be more melodious. Ultimately Ahmed succeeds in giving a good movie after many flops. Hats off to Sajid who gave him a good screenplay to picture. Baaghi has a free run for next 14 days which will help it to cross 150 crore business.

Baaghi 2 Review

Baaghi 2 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The music for Baaghi 2 has been composed by Mithoon, Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Gourav-Roshin, Sandeep Shirodkar, Pranay Rijay, Panjabi MC & Laxmikant-Pyarelal for the lines of Ginny Diwan, Arko, Sayeed Quadri & Javed Akhtar. The movie has its cinematography department handled by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran

overall not impressed by it. tiger shroff rocks with his ribbed muscular body and Disha Patani has also left audience speechless with her cuteness, but the story fables a lot, there is a lot of factual incorrectness, the entry of tiger shroff fails to impress unlike in other movies, though the Indian Army is fully respected its role in the movie not at all seems real. overall I feel that the story was inspired by few real facts such as the incidence in Kashmir of Major Gogoi tieng a stone pelter to his jeep, and IPS Vasanth rath who doesn’t wear a uniform was similar to the characters of tiger shroff and Randeep Hooda respectively.
